پھول گل شمس و قمر سارے ہی تھے (Phool gul shams-o-qamar saare hi the) پر ہمیں ان میں تمہیں بھائے بہت (Par humein in mein tum hi bhaaye bohot) وہ جو نکلا صبح جیسے آفتاب (Woh jo nikla subah jaise aaftaab) رشک سے گل پھول مرجھائے بہت (Rashk se gul phool murjhaaye bohot)
Translation:
There were flowers, the sun, and the moon—all were there, But among them, it was you who enchanted us most. The one who appeared like the morning sun, Made the flowers wither in envy. |
