Design Philosophy

It was just an empty room. Sure the diye were lit in the corners, and the sitar was playing in the background. It should’ve been enough - the beauty, the ambiance - but somehow, something was still missing. The room felt quiet, almost too quiet. 

But the moment you walked in, the whole space came alive, like it was waiting just for you. It seems like it wasn’t the candles, the music, or even the perfectly set scene that could bring this mehfil to life.

An Ode to Jaleel Manikpuri آپ چھو دیکھیں کسی غنچے کو اپنے ہاتھ سے (Aap choo dekhein kisi ghonche ko apne haath se) غنچہ گل ہو جائے گا اور گل چمن ہو جائے گا (Ghoncha gul ho jaayega aur gul chaman ho jaayega) Translation:  Just touch a bud with your hand, The bud will bloom into a flower, and the flower will adorn the garden.
